Eligibility:
The hackathon is open to students currently enrolled in post-secondary programs. Teams can have 1–4 members, and solo participants are welcome. Participants must be available to attend the live Demo Day on Nov 23, 2025, at UofT Bahen Center.
Submission:

All work submitted must be original. Participants may use publicly available libraries and APIs (including Claude API), but all code and assets must be created or properly credited by the team. Plagiarism or using pre-built projects without modification is prohibited.
Judging & Prizes:
Judges, including representatives from Anthropic, RBC, UofT AI, and UofT Blueprint, will evaluate projects based on innovation, technical execution, impact, human experience, and presentation. Bonus points may be awarded for ethical design and creative use of Claude. Decisions by the judges are final.

Participants must respect one another’s ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives. Any violation may result in disqualification.
Legal & Liability:
Participants are responsible for consulting legal advice regarding submissions, intellectual property, and use of third-party materials. Organizers are not liable for any disputes over IP, accidents, or other issues arising during the hackathon.
